Wix, our top rated website builder, has released a myriad of new features this April. As part of its April Open Studio, users can expect a new range of tools to integrate with their website.
Wix Open Studio Highlights
One of the most notable updates is the ability to sell templates from Wix Studio’s marketplace. Though this feature is still being rolled out, members of Wix’s Partner Program can start submitting their templates for review. If accepted, they can make passive income from their designs.
Another highlight is Wix’s release of Pitch Studio. Giving agencies and freelancers another way to pitch their ideas, users can create a customizable live site to share with clients. Split into different pitch types, you’ll find pitch templates for service businesses, ecommerce, online scheduling, events, restaurant services, and enterprise.
Additional Open Studio Features
The final four features from the update include:
- Figma plugin – In June, Wix Studio users will be able to integrate Figma with their editor. The plugin will let you import Figma designs directly onto your page, or copy and paste specific components into your workspace. This makes it much easier to move your designs into development.
- Wix Donations – Ideal for users with NGO or nonprofit clients, this feature makes it easier than ever to set up and manage fundraising campaigns across your websites.
- Wix Hotels – Currently in beta, Wix Hotels is a new hospitality solution from HotelRunner. From one handy place, you can now accept reservations and payments, manage your rooms, and connect your hotel business with websites like Airbnb and Booking.com.
- Google Core Web Vitals – To help users adapt to Google’s new performance metric, Interaction to Next Paint, Wix has updated its code and infrastructure to ensure your website is optimized for high performance. In other words, it’ll make sure your website still runs as quickly as it should.
